Things Tucked Away and Out Of Sight

The Wardrobe
Graphite On Cotton Rag
12 x 9"

I am dutifully working away on a Guide Book for The Maine Oracle Deck.

Below is the "The Wardrobe" card in its final incarnation.

I scanned the drawing into Photoshop and tinted all of the cards in the hope that they would be evocative of another time, perhaps the turn of the last century. I wrote all of the Prompts in the deck.

The corners are in fact rounded.

The cards are printed by Edison Press in Sanford, Maine

While I did give a great deal of thought to the Prompt on the Card's Face, there are those who have requested more elaboration. I was of two minds on the subject, but ultimately decided that nothing would be gained by keeping further insights to myself.

I shuffled the deck this morning and asked which card should be my focus for the day, and my writing.

"The Wardrobe" showed up and is more than a little apropos.

Here is today's update, to be included in The Maine Oracle Guide.

What may be further indicated by The Wardrobe? Perhaps a long-neglected project. What things of value might you share with the world? There may be a book of esoteric knowledge calling out to you.

Someone may be “in the closet”. The Wardrobe may indicate a hoarder. Clear the clutter. A trip to a donation box could be in order.

There may be, on the other hand, a need for privacy or a dedicated personal space.

This could be a nudge to update your personal style.

It's in the cards...
